At the door with no knocker

At the door with no knocker is a performance inspired by the self-immolation of Sahar Khodayari known as Blue Girl. 

In March 2019, Sahar who was a big fan of football dressed as a man to be able to enter the stadium. As it’s banned for women in Iran to go to the stadium, the body search revealed her and she was arrested and sentenced to prison. As a way of protesting, she burned herself in front of the court which ended up giving Iranian women access to the stadium after her death. 

In the ritual made by the blue girl, participants were invited to send their message of injustice to the fire as well as listen to the story of the blue girl experiencing injustice.
