Mother, Land, and Motherland is a durational performance and an installation exhibited at the Master graduation show.
Inspired by the confession ceremony in the Catholic church, in the self-designed confession booth I, as an immigrant confess to my Mother(land) that I left. I represent both the priest and the one who confesses.

During the time that I wasn’t performing in the confession booth, the work was turned into an installation where the audience could go inside and read my words of confession through the window.
